What is Music in Mears? 
2007 marks the 3rd year for St. Paul After Hours series Music in Mears and my have we grown!  SPAH is proud to bring 12 weeks of great free outdoor concerts to Mears Park this year.  The series begins June 7th and runs until Aug 30th 6pm to 9pm.  This year Music in Mears has partnered with Comcast’s Movies in the Park to feature movies after the concerts the last 6 shows. (July 26th, Aug 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th) Each concert date will feature great live music, food, beverages and various merchants and artists from the St. Paul community.

We invite you to check out the schedule and listen to the music through the links provided.  We are listing all food, beverage and merchant/artists and will update information as it comes in, so please check back for the most up to date information.  In the event of bad or questionable weather, we have a phone number to announce any cancellations.  Cancellations due to weather will be announced through this number the day of the event no later than noon.  651.291.9128 
 
We would like to thank the CapitolRiver Council for their partnership, the STAR Cultural Grant and the Saint Paul Foundations Lowertown Future Fund for their grant contributions to this years shows!  We also would like to thank Jaunae Brooks, Jay Mahaffey and Rob Klapp for their help in fund raising and promotions.  The spirit of community support is one of the great things about downtown St. Paul and we appreciate the support we’ve received!  Thanks and we look forward to seeing you at Music in Mears 2007!

What type of music?
The goal is create a unique music series featuring a global music selection and to provide an opportunity for local musicians and artists to gain exposure. 

We are featuring various live bands including: Reggae, Latin, French Jazz/Blue, Hip Hop/ RB, Rock/Pop, Americana/Country, and more.

All performances will be suitable for all ages.
